Following the closure of SMA Central & Eastern Europe s.r.o. July 1, 2015 the TERMS company took over all customer services of string and central inverters SMA for Regions CZ, CZE, HU and commercial representation of German company SMA AG. In these regions TERMS is the only one authorized company (service partner SMA AG) for customer service SMA products.

Device replacement
Maximize energy yields
Upon receiving the order, we normally send out the replacement device within 2 working days. You will receive a comparable device with all the necessary updates. If a device is replaced within the warranty period, the remaining warranty period carries over to the replacement device.
Warranty period after replacing the inverter
When replacing the device during the warranty period, the remaining warranty period shall be transferred to the replacement device. All replacement devices, however, provide at least one year full warranty, during the warranty period and after its expiry.
How do I receive a replacement device? …STEP BY STEP
- Contact us - most comfortable is to fill in a complaint form by clicking on „exchange device“ and then send form to the email SMA-service@terms.eu. You can also call the hotline
- After sending the complaint form we will contact you with any questions to supplement the information
- As soon as your complaint was accepted handled by the manufacturer SMA AG, will be delivered to your address replacement device. Before dispatch replacement device you will be contacted by our staff Logistics
- Using a qualified electrician do the removal of the defective inverter and installation of the replacement device. Please observe enclosed instructions!
- Logistics staff will inform you about the date of removal of defective device.
SMA warranty extension
SMA Active for 10–25 years
SMA Active warranty extension involves the replacement device SMA including sending under warranty SMA. In case of failure on your device, SMA will send a replacement device, including all necessary updates. Of course it is also always available SMA Service Line where you will be provided technical support.
How does it work?
If you have your SMA inverter is still in the initial five-year manufacturer's warranty, you can purchase a warranty extension on your chosen time. E.g. a period during which you will receive support in the form of feeding tarif. This will ensure that throughout the production aid will be your earning power! After ordering and paying extended warranty ACTIVE you will receive a warranty certificate with extended warranty.

if you will first time extend your basic 5-year warranty for 10 years, throughout the duration of the extended warranty you can extend warranty again. This option applies only if you first extend the guarantee for up to 10 years.
Before ordering, make sure that your inverter is still in the basic five-year warranty period. Also, make sure that you select the correct option warranty package. It is particularly important to check that you have correctly selected a product to your AC power inverter (eg. If you have AC power inverter 10kV, for you product SMA ACTIVE 10 <12kV etc.). Next, carefully read the manufacturer's warranty SMA and range of extended warranty SMA ACTIVE!
Do you know where to determine AC power inverter ?? It's simple .. On your inverter's nameplate, and there is AC power shown – see picture. On the same label is specified, the serial number of the inverter.
