SMA INVERTERS OUT-OF-WARRANTY REPAIRS
In June 2016 Terms became the first company in the world with certified authorization to conduct out-of-warranty repairs on SMA inverters. Repairs are performed by trained technicians using only genuine spare parts and we have technical support from German SMA A.G. Unlike other service companies, which performs repairs SMA inverters and often make improper interference with the PCB, we can provide 1 year warranty on our repairs!

WHAT
TO DO STEP BY STEP?
FINDING FAULT
Diagnosis of malfunction of the inverter can be in some cases very simple and in some cases very difficult. In any case, diagnosis is needed to be made by a trained technician and using appropriate equipment. In order to minimize the cost of diagnosis and to minimize discomfort to customer, faulty inverter will be picked from the customer and diagnosis will be performed in our service center.REPAIR PROCEDURE
After the diagnosis is made, we wil send customer an offer to repair the inverter. If customer agrees with price and repair procedure, we will start repairing the inverter. If the proposal on repair is not accepted, inverter will be sent back to customer unrepaired.COMPLETION
After the inverter is repaired, it will be sent to address provided by customer. We provide 1 year warranty on the delivered spare parts and service work from the date of delivery of repaired inverter to the customer.
Workflow
HOW
MUCH DOES REPAIR OF INVERTER COST?
The final price for the repair consists of two sections:
- Transportation of the inverter from customer + diagnostics. The price is listed in the ordering form and varies according to the type of inverter and the pick-up point: 85–150 € without VAT
- Work of technician and spare parts price. Usually ranges from 300 – 1000 € without VAT.
HOW
LONG WILL IT TAKE TO REPAIR?
The deadline for the repair of the inverter is determined 30 days of receipt of the inverter for repair. Usually, inverter is repaired within 5 working days.
IS
IT POSSIBLE TO FIX ALL INVERTERS?
Yes, the vast majority of defects are repairable. Everything is just a matter
of price for the repair and replacement parts. Exceptions are inverters which
underwent total destruction, fire or similar incident. In this case, we can
offer a sale of refurbished replacement inverter.
